About
Biana Bova is an illustrator and Youtuber based in Waterbury, CT. She graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2019 with a BFA in Illustration.
She uses her social media platforms not only to share her artwork, but also to educate and motivate young artists to pursue their artistic passions, and encourage diversity in their art.
Antiracism is a major driver of Biana's work, which is why she created the art challenge Melanin March in 2017. She encourages dialogues about racial issues on her Youtube channel by sharing her own personal experiences. Her portfolio's emphasis on portraits of people of color stems from her personal goal of promoting diversity in the art world.
